The subtitle of this art exhibition was created by an artificial intelligence, and the text you are reading now has been revised by this AI. Technology plays an increasingly large role in our lives and this can cause discomfort, stress, and anxiety for us.
This exhibition is dedicated to the theme of how you can experience dealing with these fears through conscious breathing. You will recognize that it is important to understand that we cannot control our thoughts, but we can only prevent our thoughts from controlling us.
Through conscious breathing, we learn how to face these fears with joy and cunning.

Hovering Connection (2018) is Adards’ first breathing artwork that consists of three connected pictures. The colorful energy fields transform their energy during inhaling and exhaling in a conscious breath pattern. Galery Thomas Dutoit is showing this artwork for the first time live.

To bring this into experience the Thomas Dutoit Gallery shows three breathing pictures from Stan Adard, each with a different breath pattern: calming breath in Dreaming Verve 2, relaxing breath in Sky Dance 2, and a meditation pattern in Leaf Sphere.

This is the first time a gallery shows the most recent artwork Sky Dance2 in the States. The breathing pattern is shorter and more obvious, perfect for a place where many people are passing by.

In our fast-paced, hectic world, the art of Stan Adard creates an oasis of peace and tranquility in any space. Deceptively static at first, after a few moments viewers realize that Adard’s digital paintings are in fact moving images. Upon even closer observation, it becomes apparent that the gently oscillating organic forms that Adard creates are breathing. These Breathing Pictures, as Adard calls them, inspire people to breathe consciously, something Adard believes helps to unite the soul, spirit, and body.
